As the decade draws to a close, I figured I’d recap some notable things that’ve happened to me since January 1, 2000:

2009 Year in Review
1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before? Internet date. Run a 5k. Not move after a year in an apartment.
2. Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I still have bad posture, so no. This year’s resolutions include running a 10k and saving $10,000 (I like to go big).

I can’t believe how time has flown. I just realized that as of this week, I’ve been at Ning for four years. Just as I did last year, here’s my first (pre-employment) appearance on the Ning Blog.

I got doored this morning. Getting doored, for the non-bike-riding population, is when you are riding along, and the driver of a parked car opens their door, and then you ride in to it.
I swerved, but still managed to smash my shin in to the door. It was extremely painful. I think the only reason I’m not in more pain is because I’m wearing my ugly slouchy gray boots, which provided a...
