Brittany Bohnet: Highlights from Nielsen's State... →
brit: These numbers are somewhat frightening… - The average US household has 2.5 TV sets - 31% of Americans own four or more TVs. - The average American watches 35.6 hours of TV week, or close to the equivalent of a full-time job. - Looking at age demographics, Americans older than 65 watch… Interestingly enough, none of these apply to me. I’d imagine though, that I...

Half Marathon Training Plan
Because Dan likes Excel and makes schedules/plans projects for a living, we now have a spreadsheet for our half marathon training. The last two weeks in it are missing, though those weeks will probably be taper weeks anyway. Really hoping I can stick with it. I’m particularly excited about week 10 - in March - which will be the first time I’ll run double digit miles. And we’re...

I Was Hit By A Car Today
In San Francisco, there’s a never ending turf war between cars and bikes. And between bikes and other bikes. Generally, I think of myself as someone who tries to ride safely, always with a helmet and lights, a general avoider of the type of antics that tend to frustrate other cyclists and drivers. And, because I am such a U...

Me: I think I have whooping cough. Dan: No you don’t. Me: How do you know? Dan: You have jewping cough. Me: What’s that? Dan: Whooping cough for jews.

Also, looking back at 2010
As new years approached two days ago, Dan looked at me and said: If anyone told us a year ago that: You’d have a new job in SF, I’d get a promotion, raise and then ngmoco would sell; and we’d move into Zena and Lance’s apartment, we would have been pretty excited about what was coming.  *** He is wise and I complain too much. We’ve decided that in 2011, we’re...
