The demise of liveblogging

If nothing else, Twitter has made the beloved-by-bloggers art of live blogging an event (Sopranos finale! The SuperBowl! Inaguaration) somewhat obsolete. Why live blog something when Twittering — which you probably are already doing if you are the sort of person who would consider liveblogging — is so much easier?
